The Foundation is working with the Alan Turing Institute (ATI), the UK’s National Institute for Data Science, on a five-year GDP10 million data-centric engineering programme. We are pleased to announce that Darren Grey has been appointed as the Programme Manager. One of the aims of the programme is to deliver the recommendations in the Foundation’s Foresight review of big data. The ATI has initiated a series of open lectures, data summits and invitation only workshops across a wide range of data related subjects, and a full listing of these can be found here: https://turing.ac.uk/events/.
