Congratulations to our international maritime law scholars.

The Foundation is proud to have sponsored three IMLI (International Maritime Law Institute) scholars who graduated at the end of May. Stephanie Zahra, the Foundation’s Stakeholder Manager presented the scholars with their certificates.

Left to right: Stephanie Zahra, Lloyd's Register Foundation; scholars Mariam Mgeladze, Stefan Brajic, Nokuthula Nofemela; and Jim Harrison, Trustee of IMLI who retired as Lloyd's Register Legal Director last year.

Graduates of the Institute, based in Malta, almost invariably return to their countries and command influential positions in their national administrations.

The IMLI graduates also visited the London office where they met Lloyd's Register’s Group Legal Head of Dispute Resolution & Compliance, Andrew Kennedy, and the Foundation’s Associate Director of Programmes, Jan Przydatek.
