We are pleased to announce that Prossie Arinaitwe will be speaking at the The Future of Global Safety, Lloyd’s Register Foundation's Digital Summit 2020.
Prossie Arinaitwe is a Concessions Monitoring Engineer with Rural Electrification Agency born in Rukungiri District, in South-western Uganda.
She received her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Makerere University in 2014 and post-graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute in 2017.
In the past five years, her work has focused on increasing electricity coverage and access in rural Uganda. She has majorly worked with government, electricity distribution licenses, development partners and equipment manufacturers from across the globe. Her work over the past 5 years can be summarized as covering the following subjects:
- Planning and design of Rural Electrification grid expansion projects.
- Monitoring of Electricity Concession Territories, assets and distribution licenses;
- Inspection, testing and commissioning of electricity power lines; and
- Evaluation of tender documents and Project Contract management
Ms. Prossie Arinaitwe is currently studying a masters in Electrical Power Systems Engineering at The University of Manchester.
