The Foundation has identified robotics and autonomous systems (RAS) as a key technology that impacts on its core objectives and has commissioned a team led by Professor David Lane CBE FREng FRSE to produce a foresight report. Our foresight reviews support our strategy on excellent scientific research and the acceleration of the application of research.
To help develop the foresight review Professor Lane’s team invites responses to a questionnaire and we invited responses from anyone with an interest in RAS. The closing date for responses was 3 April 2016.
Following this consultation the Foundation will publish a foresight review on RAS in a few months.
