It is with great sadness that we today learnt of the news that Sir Peter Gregson, Trustee of Lloyd's Register Foundation, passed away unexpectedly last week.
Statement
Sir Peter was highly respected and much-admired as a Trustee, colleague and friend who devoted considerable time and expertise to the Foundation since joining the Board of Trustees in June 2021. He was an inspiring leader and advisor, with a real passion for engineering and safety.
Sir Peter will be greatly missed by colleagues at Lloyd’s Register Foundation and Lloyd’s Register Group, and by those across our wider community who had the good fortune to work with him.
We share our deepest condolences with Sir Peter’s family and friends at this very difficult time.
