Registrations to #SaferWorld22 now open

Presented by Lloyd’s Register Foundation, the Safer World Conference 2022 is a two-day hybrid event, exploring how we can ensure a safer world for years to come.

Held both online and in person at Old Billingsgate in London UK, we’ll be bringing together thought leaders from research, academia, business and government to discuss new approaches and solutions to the world’s biggest safety challenges.

This year the conference will feature more than 30 inspiring and influential thought leaders discussing safety in a post-covid world, creating and maintaining safe and sustainable oceans, the importance of social purpose business, the future of industrial safety, the true value of safety, engineering skills and education and understanding risk, providing an exciting opportunity to share ideas and knowledge across borders, sectors, and disciplines.

Lloyd’s Register Foundation is an independent global charity that supports research, innovation, and education to make the world a safer place. As 2022 marks the Foundation’s 10th anniversary, we will be showcasing the global impact of our work over the past decade and hosting a special debate on ‘profit with purpose’ to highlight the role organisations can play in wider society.

The conference will also offer ample opportunity for networking and informal discussions and the chance to find out more about the Foundation’s grant-funded projects around the world.

Professor Richard Clegg, Chief Executive of Lloyd’s Register Foundation, said: “The Safer World Conference 2022  promises to be an exciting opportunity to hear from some of the best minds out there discussing how we can solve the world’s most pressing safety challenges. We hope you’ll join us to learn, collaborate, network and celebrate ten years of impact made by the organisations and initiatives we have funded over the last decade.  We look forward to welcoming you this May.”
