Simphiwe Stewart, Technical Advisor on Climate and Conflict, Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre
Dr Simphiwe Laura Stewart hold a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Oxford. She is a technical advisor on climate and conflict at the Red Cross climate centre with extensive experience in research and policy development developmen including work at the intersection of climate and conflict, economic justice, and social policy in Sub Saharan Africa. Previous projects and publications include U.S. federal government, humanitarian, and development agencies such as the IFRC, UN FAO, World Bank, and Concern Worldwide.
