New article in Significance Magazine explains the new 'risk know-how framework', developed by the Risk Know-How project, an international partnership between Sense about Science and Lloyd's Register Foundation.

"Risk know-how is about informed decision-making. Every risk entails a trade-off with the benefits and costs of action or inaction, and we weigh these up to make a decision."

That's according to Risk Know-How's new 'Risk Know-How Framework', a project that will engage global communities to protect themselves against misinformation and misperception.

In a three-part article for Significance, Tracey Brown, Christine Franklin and Leonor Sierra introduce the framework, and call for statisticians to get involved.
