About Ed
Often working at the nexus between research, communications and policy, Ed helps organisations communicate their data in ways that are accessible and useful to shape policy and practice. This has included leading communications and engagement for major multi-partner, multi-million pound government-academic research programmes including Administrative Data Research UK and the UK's PROTECT National Core Study on Covid-19 transmission.
Working primarily on safety and public health issues, Ed's previous third sector campaigning roles have included at Brake, the road safety charity, and the Royal Society for Public Health, where he led on alcohol and drug policy. He holds a master's degree in Cultural Heritage Management from the University of York.
