Chizoba Oparah

Chizoba is an Evidence Reviewer at the Global Safety Evidence Centre, producing accessible, policy-facing evidence syntheses for decision-makers and contributing to the Centre's systematic review and evidence synthesis portfolio. 

She holds a background in biomedical sciences and microbiology and works concurrently as a Research Assistant at the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Innovation Observatory at Newcastle University, where she specialises in health evidence synthesis and horizon scanning, producing technology briefings and reviews for the National institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), NHS England and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
