Gina Baber

Gina is a qualified Librarian and Artist with over 10 years’ experience working in academic and cultural institutions. She joined the Heritage Centre in 2025, initially to work on a large cataloguing and library move project, and is responsible for the management, development and preservation of the Library’s collection of resources on maritime history, technology and innovation and maritime safety regulation. Gina is passionate about making information and research accessible and engaging, in diversifying and giving space to alternative and underrepresented voices and sharing knowledge through collaboration. Gina is currently working with the Heritage Team on the reopening of the Heritage Centre's Library and Archive at 71 Fenchurch Street and the launch of the new online catalogue.
