Aaron is a Senior Data and Insight Scientist at the Foundation, he works across multiple Global Safety Evidence Centre products, with a particular focus on the World Risk Poll and leads on data analysis.
Before joining the Foundation, Aaron balanced a career in academia, as a medical researcher focused on cystic fibrosis with nearly 100 publications, and industry, where he applied data science and insight to drive growth in a variety of start-ups and scale-ups.

This short report is the third of our ‘Focus On’ series, and explores how and why the perceived threat of climate change varies widely between and within countries. Based on the 2021 World Risk Poll dataset, it reveals that a lack of concern can often be tightly linked to countries which have a high dependence on fossil fuel production.
