Based on data from our 2024 World Risk Poll report 'Engineering Safer Workplaces', this infographic shows global rates of harm experienced by workers in a selection of industrial sectors within the preceding two years. Fishing, construction, and mining are identified as the most hazardous sectors globally. Fishing, construction and mining top the list for the highest rates of workplace harm. The infographic was created in collaboration with Visual Capitalist as part of a four-part series accompanying our 2024 World Risk Poll reports.
