Based on data from our 2021 World Risk Poll report 'A Digital World', this infographic explores global perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI), asking whether people believe it will mostly help or harm people in their country over the next 20 years. Countries are shown on a scale from most sceptical to most optimistic, depending on the ratio of residents who say it will 'mostly harm' or 'mostly help'. The infographic was created in collaboration with Visual Capitalist as part of a four-part series accompanying our 2021 World Risk Poll reports.
